Joel Richardson 

Joel Richardson is a combat-tested U.S. Army Infantry veteran and a key instructor at A-TAC Academy. With extensive real-world experience in both military operations and civilian security, Joel brings a disciplined, mission-focused approach to every class he teaches.

During his service as a Non-Commissioned Officer, Joel deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (2012). He led combat patrols, convoy security, and force protection missions in high-risk environments. His operational background includes infantry squad and platoon operations, vehicle and convoy command, physical security planning, and protective detail operations supporting command staff.

Joel’s training and experience seamlessly bridge military combat operations with the practical needs of today’s security professionals. He is formally trained in medical response, evacuation procedures, and defensive tactics, and he holds NRA Pistol Instructor certification.
