-
Use-of-Force Decision-Making: reasonable force, totality of circumstances, proportionality, articulation in reports (Oklahoma-focused overview; not legal advice).

-
Positioning & Footwork: stance, angles, distance management, clinch entries, disengagement, and safe approach to control.
-
Control Holds & Takedowns: escort holds, wrist/elbow shoulder controls, leverage-based takedowns with focus on balance disruption and injury mitigation.
-
Ground Control & Handcuffing: transitions to prone/kneeling, cuffing from standing/prone, team cuffing, double-locking, fit checks, and post-cuff monitoring.
-
Searching & Transport Prep: systematic standing/kneeling/prone searches, managing pockets/waistbands, vehicle approach considerations, and safe movement to transport.
-
Weapon-Retention & Disarms (Intro): holster retention against grabs, long-gun retention principles (if applicable), and immediate-action escapes.
-
Edged/Impact Threats (Intro): framing, shielding, and disengagement options; integrating OC/TASER where authorized.

Why It Matters
-
Most liability stems from poor force decisions and weak articulation, not just technique. This course builds both.
-
Solid control, cuffing, and search procedures reduce injuries to subjects and officers/guards, and increase professionalism on scene.
-
Graduates leave with repeatable tactics that integrate with policy, equipment, and real-world environmental constraints (confined spaces, vehicles, low light).
