CLEET Phase III
Curriculum Phase III

Curriculum:

Phase I builds your foundation. Phase II turns it into practical shift-ready skills. Total training time is approximately 40 hours.

Phase I Course:

~20 hrs

Foundational knowledge 

This is your foundation phase. You’ll learn the rules, responsibilities, and documentation habits that keep you and your employer protected.

  • Oklahoma Security Guard & Private Investigator Act Overview (what authority you do/don’t have)

  • Professional Conduct, Ethics, and Representing a client correctly Etc.

  • Observation Skills, Field Notes, and Report Writing that holds up in Court.

  • Incident Documentation Basics (what matters, what doesn’t, what & who creates liability)

  • Emergency response mindset (what to do first, who to call, what to document)

  • Fire safety basics and extinguisher awareness

Outcome: You leave with a clear understanding of your role, your boundaries, and how to document incidents correctly.

Phase II Course:

~20 hrs

Applied security skills

This phase turns training into real job performance—how to operate on post, communicate clearly, and handle incidents without creating liability.

  • Professional communication with the public, clients, and law enforcement

  • Fixed-post vs patrol vs mobile responsibilities (what changes and why)

  • Recognizing and responding to common security incidents (correct order of operations)

  • Practical incident reporting and follow-up: what to capture and how to escalate

  • Threat awareness and prevention mindset (including terrorism awareness concepts)

  • Applying legal limitations in realistic scenarios (what’s allowed, what’s not)

Outcome: You can walk onto a post and operate like a professional: calm, observant, and clean in your documentation and escalation.
