Students learn hemorrhage control, trauma care, tourniquet application, wound packing, and immediate response techniques that can make the difference in active shooter, security, or protective operations scenarios. A-TAC Academy - The Oklahoma Academy for Tactical Education - offers this fast-paced, hands-on tactical medical training in a safe, professional, and supportive environment.

Total Hours:        8 hours

Format:               In-person training with classroom sessions and supervised range time at a local shooting facility

Certification:       Upon successful completion of all course hours, passing all written and practical assessments, students

                               receive A-TAC Academy TAC-Med certification (recognized for CLEET continuing education credit

                               where applicable).

Who It's For:       Security professionals, armed guards, executive protection agents, law enforcement, military

                               personnel, and responsible civilians who want to be prepared to render immediate life-saving care in

                               high-risk situations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • U.S. citizen or legal resident (Oklahoma residency often required for licensing)

  • High school diploma or GED (recommended)
