Armed License Holders Must Complete Annual Firearms Requalification

CLEET requires annual firearms requalification for anyone holding an armed license. The qualification course depends on your license type. Armed Private Security, Armed Bail Enforcer, Armed PI, and Combination licenses use CL-1108. Armed Private Investigators only, non-uniformed, use CL-1109. Active commissioned peace officers with armed licenses use the standard peace officer pistol qualification course.

Qualification must be conducted by a CLEET-certified instructor at an approved range. Self-conducted practice does not count, and qualifications from other agencies do not transfer unless specifically approved.

ATAC conducts CLEET firearms requalification on a regular schedule.
