Rifle Marksmanship 

Course Overview

This is a private, coached session designed to make you safe, consistent, and comfortable on the range. You’ll learn the “why” behind accuracy, and you’ll leave with clear next steps for practice.

What this course is:

~4 hrs

Real-World Rifle Fundementals

A focused fundamentals session built around safe handling, repeatable accuracy, and practical range confidence. We keep it simple, coach you closely, and adjust the pace to your experience level.

  • Understand the basics that drive consistent hits (without overcomplicating it).

​

  • Learn a clean, repeatable process you can use every range trip.

​

  • Get individualized feedback in real time (stance, sight picture, trigger press, follow-through).

​

  • Leave with a simple practice plan so you keep improving after the session.

Safety-First: Training is provided for lawful purposes only. You must be legally eligible under applicable federal/state law, follow all range rules. You are required to complete and sign our waiver agreement before you can undergo training.

What to Bring: 

Clothing: 

Closed-toe shoes required. Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing.

Water + Snacks

Hydration matters, especially outdoors. Bring what you’ll need for 4 hours.

Ammunition

We recommend that you bring a minimum of 400+ Rounds to this session.

We are here to answer all of your questions and to teach you our tactics. 

Zero Judgment Policy: If you’re brand new, that’s normal. We’ll start from the basics, explain terms plainly, and build confidence through coached reps.

Jacob Spencer 

Lead Instructor

Jacob Spencer is the owner and lead instructor at A-Tac Academy, bringing over 11 years of elite U.S. Army service to the field. A combat-tested Infantryman, Squad Leader, and SNOT Team Leader, he has served on multiple combat deployments in high-threat environments and trained foreign forces across the globe.

​A recipient of the Purple Heart and Army Commendation Medal, Jacob is a recognized expert in Close Quarters Battle, hand-to-hand combat, and advanced tactical shooting. His career extends beyond the military into executive protection, working with high-net-worth individuals and Department of State WPS III contracting. A graduate of Pacific West Academy, he is proficient in principle protection, protective detail operations, surveillance detection, crisis management, precision marksmanship, tactical medicine, and emergency vehicle operations. With proven leadership and operational expertise, Jacob delivers real-world training with precision, discipline, and uncompromising standards.
