CLEET Has Moved All License Applications Online

CLEET no longer accepts paper applications for private security licenses. All new applications, renewals, and supporting documentation must go through the Thentia online portal.

Application fees are paid in two parts. 20% at submission, the remaining 80% after the application is approved. Acceptable payment methods are online credit card, money order, company check, or cashier's check. Personal checks are not accepted.

If you have ever held a prior CLEET license, security or law enforcement, you must contact CLEET to verify the email address on your profile before submitting an application. The portal will not let you proceed if the email on file does not match.

Fingerprints must be completed at an IdentoGo site within 30 days of submitting the online application, using service code 2B7Q6Z for security guards and private investigators.
